The East London Teaching School Hub offer the UCL Institute of Education’s Early Career Teachers Programme (ECTP). ECTs joining the profession will start the revised Early Career Teacher entitlement, drawing on the revised ITTECF framework.
The ECT Programme includes:
- Fully funded, research led, professional learning for Early Career Teachers and their Mentors
- The programme is a combination of face to face and online learning delivered by professionals who understand the context of local schools
- From September 2025 schools accessing our fully funded programme are eligible for additional funding for the mentor development programme (equivalent to 20 hours of back-filled funding over a one-year period).
This is in addition to the funding for Year 2 ECTs and their mentors to have time off timetable.
